Privacy policy

1. Who we are
Founders.Club is a private community for founders. The site is operated by the Founders.Club team. The platform is hosted on Lovable Cloud, which provides the underlying database, authentication and storage infrastructure.
2. What data we collect
When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password hash. When you build your profile, we collect your full name, username, company or venture name, a short description of what you do, and your LinkedIn URL. If you submit a project for the showcase, you may also add a story, photo, and website link. Your application details are stored so the admin team can review your membership.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to run the community: authenticate you, review your application, display your profile to other approved members, show project submissions to admins, and email you occasionally about community updates. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build an advertising profile.
4. Who can see your data
Your profile is visible to other approved members in the member directory, and to admins while your application is being reviewed. Project submissions are visible to admins when reviewing them. The monthly featured project is displayed publicly on the landing page and showcase page, but only with the information you submit.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use a small cookie banner to manage consent for optional analytics. Essential cookies are used to keep you signed in. You can accept or decline non-essential analytics from the banner. We do not use tracking pixels for advertising.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored in the Lovable Cloud backend. We use row-level security rules to limit what each user can see, and we require authentication for member-only areas. No system is perfectly secure, and we ask you to use a strong password and keep it private.
7. Your rights
You can edit your profile at any time from the dashboard. You can request a full export of your data or ask for deletion by contacting the admin team. If you delete your account, your profile and application are removed, though some anonymised system records may remain for security and compliance.
8. Subprocessors and integrations
The platform uses Lovable Cloud for hosting, authentication, storage and database services. We may add other tools that are necessary to run the community (for example, email sending or analytics). We will keep this list updated if that changes.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the community grows. The latest version will always be posted here with the updated date. If we make a significant change, we will notify members through the site or by email.

We keep the community as private as possible. If you have any questions about your data, ask us directly.
